Location:
Los Altos Park, Sandown.
I chose Los Altos park for the 'walking in the woods' scenes because it's a stones throw from the school, and it has a super nice bunch of trees (see above and below) that are all skinny and tall - so no leaves or bushes obstructing shoots, but it'd still be fairly obvious where we were. There's also a permanent carpet of leaves on the floor, that make quite nice for swooshing through. It also helps to add to the idea that the woods are methaphorical in the characters head - he's having to stumble and struggle through the leaves like he is through his problems? (or just life in general, maybe?)
