Update/First rough edit

Decided to go back to my original idea (storyboards below) since times getting a bit thin and I can't think of anything better. So, first off, I'll edit it with the Dylan song, and then I'll have a fiddle with some uncopyrighted stuff and see what works...

This below is the first sort of rough edit, shot earlier today and then chopped up in Abode Premiere Pro. Lots more needs to go in, obviously, but this is the sort of direction it'll probably go in now...

Let me know what you think, and special thanks to Dan.

  1. This is really well edited. Like it loads. I think it would work on its own without the other bits you said you were going to put in.

  2. Really?
I don't know if I'd go see a film after seeing just that though...

  3. No, maybe not, but it is meant to be a teasr for the proper one, so would get you exited for the full length one to see what its about.

  4. Probably needs at least a hint of the plot though, like the split personality thing? Even if it only flashes up for like a second?

  5. yeah, lik right at the end for about a milisecond.

  6. I thought teeny flashes throughout might be more effective? Like Dan in various stages of applying the make-up/facepaint or whatever?

  7. make it like one of those videos that are ment to make you jump, i think the omen remake had a trailer like that.

  8. Try both, do as much footage as possible and see what looks best.

  10. You're onto something here - I like the location and idea but it does need more varied, fast paced shots (looks like a short film at present) and to give
away a little more. Keep experimenting Amy

  11. I think you need some shots with face paint, just to add a bit of conflict into the trailer? Currently it looks like it could be any sort of genre of film, I think. :)
